Do you also instrument the NEWOBJMULTIARRAY operator in the optimizing compiler? It's emitted in BC2IR for the multianewarray bytecode.

If you do instrument it, you could try to check if instrumentation is missing for creation of objects via reflection and JNI. In those cases, objects are created by directly calling methods in RuntimeEntrypoints. The compilers don't seen any kind of object creation bytecodes for these and consequently won't add instrumentation.
