that depends on what you want to do. If you only need to build the bootloader (e.g. to check for compile errors), do a normal full build first. If you do not clean afterwards, you should be able to use "ant build-bootloader" to build just the bootloader.

If you need the new bootloader in the dist directory, you can try using ant init-runtime-dir-on-target .
