Since we observed JikesRVM only used up to 2% (<1.5 GB) memory of our server, If it goes over it we would have malloc issues. The problem we can think of is that our malloc in C could conflict with the memory reserved from JikesRVM. Under build/targets/ We found several properties files, and it has configurations like this: target.bootimage.code.address=0x64000000 target.bootimage.data.address=0x60000000 target.bootimage.rmap.address=0x67000000 target.max-mappable.address=0xb0000000 Is there any way that we can make sure our malloc part would not conflict with the address reserved from JikesRVM? Or could other reasons cause this malloc issue?
