Not without code. I've just pointed someone else at https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/292?versionId=20215 because it has a "Set Issue security from user role" which might do the job for you. I haven't tested it to this level as I've only used the basic "user is in role X" function, but I think you could set up project role A and project role B (which don't have to actually do anything), and then put group A in role A, group B in role B, and then the function should set the security level appropriately.
