No. I suggest using a field name something like Old Number and map the old number to the field during the import. Put the field just on the view screen so it can't be changed. Hi, I am planning to import some old data from another ticketing system to JIRA. Is there any way that you can maintain the same ticket number instead auto-generate number by JIRA? The reason I asked is b/c our team and our client are used to the old ticket number, and a lot of communication is base on the ticket number and not by the description. So when we import these old issues, we want to maintain the old number and put all the old tickets to an "ARCHIVE" project.
