Linking Custom Fields Between Issues

I was wondering if there was anyway to automatically update fields in an issue when the same field is changed in another issue. For example if I had a field called Primary Owner in two "linked" tickets, and I change the Primary Owner of Ticket#1, then it will change the primary owner in Ticket#2.
