Hi,

We are working on migrating JIRA version we are currently on i.e. 3.11 to the new version 4.3. With regard to this, i would like to know the below information. Could you please let me know your inputs on the below questions.
1. Can i install multiple instances of JIRA under a single Tomcat container. We have 3 instances in place which we need to run under the same container, what are the pros/cons of implementing this?
2. For multiple instances, i need to have a different jira.home location. In such a case, do i need to edit the jira-application.properties for each instance and build a WAR for each instance.
3. For multiple instances, do i need to have one license key per instance?
4. What are the risks involved in production environment if we have multiple instances running on the same server.

Thanks in advance!
Shankar
