I'm terribly sorry, I messed up on the last "con" 4. Atlassian don't recommend it, and you have to do quite a lot of work in Tomcat configs to get around clashes in what the applications do inside Tomcat because they are effectively duplicates. I can't help you there, the person who did the Tomcat side of it for me was a Tomcat expert and I no longer work there, so I don't have access to look at what he did. Personally, I wouldn't do it based on just the fact that all of them run in one container and anything happening in one can affect the others. There's very little extra overhead in having 3 Tomcats instead of 1, and the config and maintenance is a LOT lower. The *only* real disadvantage of running separately is you have to find 400Mb of disk space for each install. -- Post by broughn2 - online at: http://forums.atlassian.com/thread.jspa?forumID=46&threadID=55118 _______________________________________________ Jira-user mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or change your options visit this page: http://lists.atlassian.com/mailman/listinfo/jira-user
