Ok, that makes sense, thanks. Now I need to ask where you're stuck - it sounded like you were having problems with getting your "factory" to store what the user chooses when they are adding the validator, but your screenshots show nominated fields are being displayed, so I'm a bit lost. The ${val} looks wrong, so I'm assuming that's the problem, but you store and get that in the same way you handle the selected field names, so I'm not sure what is wrong.
