See my previous response to this question. >1. I am leaving the data import process to complete. However i see that every time, i get the 'Cannot find server' browser message approximately after an hour. >3. Once i see the browser display the 'cannot find server' message, i am confirming the process is left unfinished at this point. Moreover the logs are not updated anymore after this. Er, that doesn't mean it's complete. The message just means the session is ended. What I'm getting at is why you think it's finished? The browser session is on a different system and that has little to do with what the server is doing. More importantly, the logs are showing nothing - that implies the import is still running, and you're not giving it a chance. >4. Can i start the import again where it was left unfinished? I think it will lead to corruption of data since there might be some tables in the database which have already got updated while the import was ON. Before you worry about that, could you answer my question on the previous posting? What happens when you reconnect after the error? Ideally try another machine, but start by restarting the browser. Restarting the import will start from scratch - Jira drops all the tables at the beginning. -- Post by broughn2 - online at: http://forums.atlassian.com/thread.jspa?forumID=46&threadID=55273 _______________________________________________ Jira-user mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or change your options visit this page: http://lists.atlassian.com/mailman/listinfo/jira-user
