Plugins are possibly different though, I don't know if Jira 4.3 and above store them in the database, but Jira 4.2 backups only contained the configuration data for them, not the physical .jar files, so I understand any confusion there. Unless you've installed a new Jira and pointed it at the existing "jira home", in which case, it'll see all the same plugins >Another struggle that i have is NONE of the data got moved?
