Hi, Richard Osbaldeston has created a suite of servlets and scripts to help you serve and maintain Java Web Start apps. The package includes: * Support for macros inside Web Start XML startup files (aka JNLP files), e.g. $$codebase, $$href or $$host to avoid hard-coded URLs * Support for your own macros defined as servlet or container parameters, e.g. $$JdbcHostString for database connection info * Support for Java runtime auto-download installations * and much more You can find out more @ http://lopica.sourceforge.net/services Grab a copy @ http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=64065 You're also more than welcome to discuss the new Web Start Services package by joining Richard and others on the lopica-talk mailing list @ http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lopica-talk - Gerald --------------------------------------- Web Start News Wire - Subscribe/Unsubscribe @ http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lopica-announce --------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The best thread debugger on the planet.
