HP, Dell to ship Java Web Start with all PCs starting this fall

Hi,

  here's a slightly off-topic newsbyte coming out from
the JavaOne 2003 Dev Pow Wow in San Francisco:

  Sun negotiated a deal with HP and Dell - the #1 and
#2 PC makers (at least in the US) - and they agreed to
ship Sun's latest Java runtime pre-installed on all
their desktop and notebook PCs starting this fall.

  I assume this includes Java Web Start too (now that
it's part of the Java core package).
