Were you able to fix the problem. Another JPublish user suggested the
following to me today:
You need to specify the charset encoding at the page level, the same you
are using in jpublish.xml.
Example:
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv='content-type' content='text/html; charset=BIG5'>
<title>your site</title> ..... </html>
However, you must be careful in playing with the character encoding, in
your case, I would use (in jpublish.xml):
<character-encoding-map path="*">
<page-encoding>BIG5</page-encoding>
<template-encoding>UTF-8</template-encoding>
<request-encoding>UTF-8</request-encoding>
<response-encoding>UTF-8</response-encoding>
...
This is assuming you are using a Unicode development environment.
