Hello, I'd like to throw some ideas, questions in the air about JPublish pages and they way it handles them. I like the way things are set up, Pages can be in one XML file or individual xml files, all in all pages are awesome. What are opinions on creating a dynamic page "repository"? What would this allow?: Suppose you are creating a forum app. To read a msg normally it would be something like this: http://yourhost.com/forum/msg.html?id=678 Now think of doing this: http://yourhost.com/forum/msg/678.html, where 678.xml(or DB representation of it) would be entered into the database by your app. So when a new msg thread is posted it you create a MSGID.xml(or DB representation of it) in the DB. Can this be done with a Path action? so that everything behind /msg/* is caught, and if the path is 678.html it generates the apporpriate msg? ------------------------------------- Other things: In org.jpublish.repository.db.Repository should the first large comment block (not the license) be in the Docs section, it has infor like the config and SQL schema. Does JPublish implement some type of connection pooling? I use Torque for my OR mapping and it seems to work well. Thanks :), Derick ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: viaVerio will pay you up to $1,000 for every account that you consolidate with us. http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;4749864;7604308;v? http://www.viaverio.com/consolidator/osdn.cfm
