What database to choose?

Hello

  I believe jRPM should maintain installed and available package
  descriptions. It should store it and performs queries on it.

  Pure java embedded database to use seems to be the most acceptable
  decision. But there are a large variety of such databases:
  relational, object, xml and Berkley DB like. There are also a lot of
  in each type

  Which of them suits more?
