development update

Wow, it's been a year since I last gave an update to this list. I hope
to change that, if I can remember, by giving more frequent updates. One
possibility that came to mind was to write to this list my plans for
what bug fixes and features would be going into the next release.

So here it goes.

For the next release, and I'm not saying when I can get this done, I
plan on making the following bug fixes:

842 min P1 All ASSI Classes Java 1.5 anonymous inner class names
separated by +

844 tri P1 All NEW Dialog Breakpoint setting dialog is non-intuitable

848 tri P1 All NEW Launchin jswat shell script not packaged
                            as executable

849 tri P1 All NEW Dialog About dialog has 'x.y' version

850 nor P1 All NEW Path Path manager seems to ignore SourceFile
                        attribute

As you can see I am focusing on bug fixes. After the next release I plan
to start work on JSwat 3.0 which will utilize the features found in Java
1.5. I plan on doing some refactoring of the JSwat code in the process.
After the 3.0 release I'll go back and start implementing feature
requests, especially some of the older ones.

Naturally, if any of you would like to contribute fixes or new features,
that would be greatly appreciated. Just assign the bug to yourself in
bugzilla so that I and others will know you're working on it. Then send
the code patches to this mailing list.
