I am not sure if it happens every time or not, but it appears to be every
time. The problem persists until I jump into another file (via
single-stepping). When I jump back out to the file that contains the
breakpoint, the problem returns.

The particular stuff that I am testing is running underneath JUnit's
TestRunner, but that doesn't have anything to do with this. I verified that
by running the same methods from an adhoc main method in the same class.

This happens every time you hit a breakpoint? Is it just with a certain
class/method? Roughly how many times do you have to single-step to make
the problem go away?

Thanks for the bug reports.
