Problem with setting multiple alias with version 2.16

I've recently moved up to version 2.16 from the 1.x series of jswat.  I 
can't seem to define a macro anymore.  Essentially, I can't get an alias 
to map to multiple commands.  For example, I tried in the my jswatrc:

alias st clear all ; attach 8899

When I start up jswat and do an "alias st", I only got "clear all".  It 
seems like it's getting only the first argument.

What's the right syntax to define a macro now?
