Yes, I'm talking about the locals panels. By "white holes" I mean something
like this:
-table
	-[0]
	-[1]
	-[2]


	-[7]
	-[8]
	
but not so clean, since the botton half of entry [2] and the top half of
entry[7] may be hidden too.

I don't understand what you're talking about. Is the problem in one of
the display panels, such as the locals panel? What does it mean that
there are "white holes" in the sequence?
