sourcepath issue

I have not been able to make sourcepath to work on my
NT 4.0 with JDK 1.3.1. when I use jSwat to debug
remote java programs running on HP Unix. I even tried
to set sourcepath when JSwat is started (i. e., java
-Djava.source.path=<java source code directory>
...where the source directory is on the NT machine.)
When I double clicked on a node on the classes panel,
it always complains about not finding the source file.
Any suggestions on what might not have been set 
correctly ?
