Hi, I'm a fequent user of jSwat and I'm running version 2.32. I have Java 1.4.2installed and actually running jSwat. What I'm trying to do though is debug an application using 1.3.1. I know this is version of Java very dated (and so is the application). I'm trying to upgrade the application to get them to at least 1.4.2. I'm trying to use the 'Start VM' dialog and in the Java Home I'm giving it the path to the jre1.3.1 directory that's installed on my computer. 'JVM Executable' = java. When I try and start it up I receive the error below. ERROR: Cause of death: Transport dt_shmem failed to initialize, rc = 509. FATAL ERROR in native method: No transports initialized. I read that java 1.4.x is required to use jswat 2.x (which i am using). I'm just wondering if I cannot use jSwat 2.x and point it to use a jre1.3.1 when debugging a Swing application. Thanks for any hints... - Billy - _______________________________________________ jswat-user mailing list [email protected] http://www.bluemarsh.com/mailman/listinfo/jswat-user
