If you aren't subscribed to the jswat-announce list, then you may not
have noticed that JSwat 3.0 beta has been released. If you haven't tried
out the 3.0 releases yet, now is the time to do so. The beta release is
basically feature complete. The final 3.0 release will contain some
minor changes to prepare the 3.x branch for a long life of gradual
improvement.

When you try out the new version, be sure to read the newly written
user's guide, which is linked from the README file. This explains how
some of the features differ from the older versions of the debugger.

BTW, if you are "watching" the JSwat releases on SourceForge, you may
want to update your subscription to the 'jswat' package. The other
packages have been retired and will probably never be used again.

As always, feel free to send any questions or comments to me or to this
list, with the latter being the preference.

Thank you for your continued support.

P.S. Expect to see the final 3.0 release by the end of October. After
that, expect to see point releases every few weeks.
