3.0 and sessions

i finally got around to upgrading from 2.39 to 3.0.  when i started jswat,
my sessions no longer appeared.  from the docs/faqs, it seems that the
sessions.xml
got overwritten.  since i have about 6 projects that i travel through,
rebuilding
is going to be tedious.  am i missing something?
