Re: call for input, votes

Nathan,

I've exercised my rights as a citizen of JSwatistan and voted.  Couple of
questions and other items:

a) #407 and #265 seem to be the same thing (implied *. in unqualified
classnames).  I voted for #407 because it's the one with my name in it.
Re. the comments in #265, I wonder if it's possible to check classes
against wildcards when they're loaded?  That would eliminate the problem
of having to scan the classpath directories looking for matching files
(which I agree is a bad idea under any circumstances).  If not, perhaps
the *. could still be implied on already-loaded classes -- isn't that how
it works now with the explicit *.?

b) Can you perhaps add a new bug for me?  (I don't know if you want us
adding new ones directly?)  I'd like the 'runto' command to clear the
breakpoint it sets once it's reached -- a one-time breakpoint, in effect.
Usually I use that just to find my way through code, not to set permanent
breakpoints.  [If this is already implemented, sorry -- I'm a few versions
back because we're not using 1.4 yet.]

Once the bug is posted I'll use my 10th vote for it.

c) Re. #389, the readline RFE, I've had great success with a command line
tool called ile.  There are others, but this was the one I was able to
compile on our system (it's platform-dependent, of course).  If you want
to post the tgz file, I could send it to you -- it's a bit hard to find on
the net.

Anyway, thanks for promoting the voting!  It's a good idea.
