I so hate the Mailman installation at SourceForge. It's managed to strip away any means of contacting Gene. Time to find a better hosting site. Anyone have recommendations?

Gene, if by some random luck you happen to see this post, please send me the messages log from JSwat, which should contain a heap of exception stack traces. What you're seeing is truly strange, and something I've never heard of (although I've stopped using Windows more than a year ago).

The attached message has been automatically discarded.My system details are below.  I downloaded the Jswat 4.3 installer
jar and launched it.  The first strange thing I noticed is that
when I specified the install directory (which didn't already exist)
it did not successfully install but seemed to create a directory
that cannot be seen in Windows explorer (even with hidden files
shown), nor from the Command Prompt or Cygwin commands.  I know
something is there because the installer refuses to attempt to
install in that directory again.  I have no way of telling whether
disk storage has leaked because of this, but I am concerned about it.


I did manage to install by creating a directory first and then telling
the installer to install there.  However, when Jswat starts, only
the Menu/Toolbar portion of the frame is displayed -- the main info
windows are not displayed.  I can create a debugging session, but
attempts to launch the session produce null pointer exceptions.
The log file shows the following:

    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at sun.swing.table.DefaultTableCellHeaderRenderer.getColumnSortOrder
       (DefaultTableCellHeaderRenderer.java:104)

Can anyone shed some light on these two issues?  The JDK installation
is OK because I am running other programs of significant size in it.
I have used Jswat successfully on FreeBSD.  Thanks in advance.
