Yes, the documentation is out of date because I have not yet finished all of the necessary changes. But, as for the released code (i.e. v4.3), it should all be in sync with the available bits. Obviously archived emails from a long time ago are no longer valid. I will fix the documentation such that the appropriate version of NetBeans is made very clear. I thought that was the case already, but apparently not.

I will try to build v4.3 using Java 1.6 as soon as I can. As for the next release, that could be this month, or next month, or next year. The problem is time, I don't have any.

As for the spam in jswat-issues, it is an unfortunate side-effect of allowing non-subscribers to easily report problems. I have cleaned up all of the spam that SF allowed me to archive.

Funny, I didn't even realize that JSwat worked with NetBeans 6.x at  
all. I thought it required NetBeans 5.x. At least, that's the  
impression I got from your message here:

So... you're saying that JSwat 4.3 requires NetBeans 5.5, but the  
JSwat in the repo requires 6.1? I'm all confused because the JSwat  
documentation doesn't ever say what NetBeans version is required.

The problem is, I can't use the latest source code; I have to use an  
official release (e.g, 4.3). That's because I'm writing a package  
descriptor for Fink, and it doesn't work with source code  
repositories, only tarballs. Will there soon be an official release of  
JSwat that supports NetBeans 6.1?
