how to narrow down on the cause of CTS assertion failure

 I run the  CTS test for Camera .I havent developed this Camera framework
neither have I done the Test case. I get the error
junit.framework.AssertionFailedError
for the certain camera test.
> The test hasnt given me much details . I am new to this. how can I
smartly make out where the bug is , Is it in the camera framework , if yes
then what can I do , I mean is there something more like compile the code
with debugging enabled something so I mean the android with debugging
enabled so that the CTS test run again will give me more info about the
error , or something else. Could it be problem with the Test case that was
written. How to find out.
