Why method "assertEmpty(List<Throwable> errors)" in MultipleFailureException is "deprecation" ?

Hi members, I am studying the JUnit source code. As my subject described , why this method is marked by "deprecation" ?

 I'm very appreciate if someone can explain it for me.

 My JUnit version is 4.9.
