As the message size increased i noticed that the latency decreased. Is this an expected outcome? I am aware that 64kb is the maximum/optimum message size in JXTA pipes ( Input/Output Unicast pipes) , and anything above will degrade the performance. correct me if i am wrong on this assumption. However as we increase message size from say 2kb to 64kb, the latency ( transfer time) seems to decrease. Does anyone have any experience on similar experiments/results?
