which version of jxta xml-rpc can i use?

I am interested in using a higher level programming api rather than 
sockets for jxta. I have found some xml-rpc port, but haven't seen 
enough examples to get started.

can someone recommend a version of xml-rpc/rmi over jxta that I can use 
to build a client server application - also any pointers to existing 
sample code will be immensely helpful.
