You should really look at https://jxta-remote-desktop.dev.java.net/ The code is working after a fashion. It needs some of the VNC-like additions to increase the data rate. I am actively looking for someone to get in there and do this next stage. So I'm a definite -1 for this proposal. But I'd love a +1 worth of help to bring the existing jxta-remote-desktop project to the next level. It would also mean that you would be starting with some working code :o) I am about to update jxta-remote-desktop with my peer presence and get it to the latest release of JXTA so this is a good time to add an active developer (or anyone else on this list that wants to help).
