Bob, First of all thank you for stepping up and taking the lead on reviving the JXTA Search project. At the time JXTA search was first launched most of the advanced feature of what the platform offers today were not available (or being designed). Features Such as rendezvous message walkers, peer organization, JXTA's DHT SRDI, and finally the family of bidirectional communication channels (JxtaSocket, and JxtaBiDiPipe). My hope is that the JXTA search vision is carried forward while taking advantage of the powerful components the JXTA platform provides. Please do not hesitate to ask questions on how you may best utilize those features.
