Hello. I configured this network, formed by 4 rdv: R1 ---> R2 ---> R3 ---> R4 (---> means initial rdv view, read from a config list which is different for each rdv) The first problem is that queries are not propagated over 1 hop. E.g., suppose R3 publishes an adv. (locally and remotely, thus the adv. is replicated in R4). If R1 searches for that adv., Its query reaches R2, but R2 does not propagate to R3 (R2 does not cache the adv., so it should propagate the query!!). Thus the adv. is not found. The same happens for publication. If R1 publishes an adv., the SRDI message reaches R2, but R2 does not forward to R3. Moreover, I notice that, even after a long time, the peer view do not converge to "every rdv knows every rdv". Can these behaviors be explained? -- Michele Amoretti, Ph.D. Student Dip. di Ingegneria dell'Informazione, Università degli Studi di Parma Parco Area delle Scienze, 181A I-43100 Parma Italy Phone: +39-(0521)-906147 Fax: +39-(0521)-905723 Home page: http://dsg.ce.unipr.it/People/amoretti/Amoretti.html
