[JXTA discuss] JXTA Search Engine

Hello World,

I just read the article posted at http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/JXTA/ which contains thoughts by,
Bernard Traversat
Chief Architect of JXTA Technology
Sun Microsystems 
 
The ideas introduced in the article were a bit over my head, such having a JXTA search engine that searches and indexes web sites the same way as google does. What I find hard to comprehend is how JXTA will discover and index web sites on HTTP protocol. Can someone elaborate further. Also I read that Bill Joy was trying to something for Google, are his ideas somehow connected to this issue?
