The join command defaults to edge, you must specify "-r" to join a group 
as a rendezvous.  Also here's are a few hints :
 - Shell -s (spawns a new shell window, handy when debugging)
 - use rdv  (switches mode to rdv, -edge to edge, -rpv to list the peer 
view)
 - leave -k leaves the group
