When invoking jxta, add the following arguments:
-Dhttp.proxyHost=your.proxy.url -Dhttp.proxyPort=PORT_NUM (typically 80 or 8080)

In the configurator, under HTTP Settings, check the box for "Enable Incoming Connections".

Subject: [JXTA user] how to configure NAT and proxy in jxta

Hello!
I'm a newbie to jxta and I'm in a strang web environment: a university intrater so there is a firewall between me and Internet, and I can only visit my country's website without the help of a proxy, when I run jxta shell, I can not see any other peers except myself. I think I should set a proxy address and set something about firewall when I run jxta, but I can not find how to do that by GUI jxta configuration tool. Please help me to solve this problem, thanks. ______________________________________
