PipeExample, outputPipeEvent are called twice...

Hi,
 i'm using the PipeExample from ProgGuide2.3 and when i sent one message two message from to send is printed. i think that outputPipeEvent is called twice. I printed the time and are the same.
 WhatÂ´s wrong?
