 I'm new to all this, so go easy on me
 
i would like to instructions on how i can install jxta on my linux
machine, so that i can do things like run the jxta shells and create
java programs using jxta. My longterm aim is to create a P2P
filesharing program based on the jxta protocols.

Lookingat the jxta web site it all looks quite complicated.

can anyone help?
