OK. So I just looked at the source from what I checked out yesterday ( \cvs\platform\binding\java\impl\src\net\jxta\impl\protocol\PipeAdv.java - this is where the source is on my system) and see that the clone() method is returning clone; vs. clone(). I built platform and copied jxta.jar and jxtaext.jar to the lib of my project (using NB 4.1). When I compile/run in debug mode I can see that the IDE is scanning the new jars. I still get the same stack overflow. I tried looking at the PipeAdv class in the <PROJECT_HOME>/lib/jxta.jar, but I can't see anything of course. Really frustrating problem at this point. I would like to move on into further explorations with JXTA but really want to get this functionality 100% because it will only come back to haunt me and sooner then later I'm sure.
