Peer disconnection advertisement broadcast

Hi all,

Does JXTA support and publishes an advertisement that notifies other peers
or another peer that is going down?

e.g.

Lets say I have a peer which is initiating a shutdown sequence for
maintenance purposes and there fore will not be available for a few days.
Does JXTA support such a broadcast?
