Starters question about configuring peers

Hi! I am quite new to JXTA programming and I am having trouble configuring the peers the way I want them. In detail: I am currently working with the PeerDiscovery Demo, which runs fine. Is there an easy way to set the expiration time of Peer Advertisements? I can only read the DiscoveryResponseMsg, where the standard values are set (2hours).
