It's funny you mention that, because F3 is not really new to us in the
sense that Groovy has been providing a "Swing Builder" since the very
early days of the project. It's very easy to build Swing UIs in Groovy
by nesting components in the same way F3 does.

There's an old article on O'Reilly.net about it, it might give you
some insight on how it looks like:
