Okay...I did a day of tinkering and finally have things working. Here is what I did... Edited the application's web.xml file (changing config.overide to use a relative path ..\) I then copied keel.properties from the default sample project directory (without doing this createdb would error out because it couldn't create a persistence service instance). It seems like whatever class is picking up the config.overide setting is getting it relative to the classloader (probably calling getResource() or something like that...actually I'm going to go bug hunting and find this thing.
