The keel team is pleased to announce the Keel Container 4.0 release!
This module contains the top-level Container class that launches all
other
components in a running Keel system. It is in turn started by one of the
several available Keel "servers", either in it's own VM as a standalone
program, or as part of a web application or GUI application.
Changes in this version include:
New Features:
o Move various container utility classes to keel-core, reduce dependency
on
keel-container.
Fixed bugs:
o Cleanup Eclipse warnings/deprecated API calls
o Remove Xerces and/or Xalan dependency, use XMLDocumentSerializer in
keel-common
o Update dependencies based on SVN version of Fortress, which is also
1.2
:-(. Updated to use 1.2-dev of instrumentation, which does away with
AltRMI
in favour of HTTP Updated to use d-haven mpool/event (fixes not
finding
ROLE in PoolManager problem).
o Another pass at dependency cleanup, and updated
keel.client/keel.server
properties
o Released version of Fortress depends on Excalibur mpool, not D-Haven
mpool
o First pass at proper keel.server, keel.client, war.bundle and
uber.skip
properties
o Updated maven.test.dest property in build.xml
o Updated resource declarations in project.xml
o Removed unnecessary conf, resource, doc and README files
o Removed old Ant files where necessary
o Add missing dependencies for instrumentation
o Fixed compatibility issue for Java 1.4 and 1.5
Removed features:
o Removed dependency on Xalan
Have fun!
