Pierre: I've just added code to check for a property "keel.maventool.skipversions", this will omit the "version-checking" part of the new plugin (and should make it faster than it was before). Also, the tool now pays attention to the "maven.mode.online" flag. If it's "false", MavenTool will be very fast, as it does not try to check remote repositories at all.
