Justin,

I definitely sympathize with the long deploy, ran into it with Cocoon myself
trying to reproduce Peter's problem.  And, this is with webapp-minimal, think
about webapp!

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no time to even investigate...let alone
solve.  I will look when I get a chance.  Mike, I can't see how you stand this
as you buiild regularly with cocoon :-)
