I can only speak for myself, but I find there were some things I needed to test on a page that anteater didn't handle well - javascript, for example. Also, it's junit style (it actually extends junit) was also a plus, and learning it was 10 minutes with the javadoc. Thats why I added the HttpUnit module. I understand jwebunit also extends HttpUnit, but I haven't tried it yet. Other folks in the group have said good things about Solex, but I haven't had the chance
to try it yet either...

Not sure if that really answers your questin, but thats kind of why HttpUnit came into the picture!
