so after all it looks like the hibernate persistence is working! I'm 
still getting a few errors, but they appear to be marginal at the 
moment. So it should be time to take back the new database configuration 
subject. Did you manage to complete your Howto? I'm to the point that I 
more or less can start a standard configuration both with hsqldb and 
with mysql. So now it should be time to bring DB2 to life. Can you help 
me with this?
