AW: Re: AW: Re: error on createdb - Not a definitive answer

There is an ant.sh shell script in the ANT_HOME/bin ... I think it uses JAVA_HOME/bin/java to find the JDK... so check your JAVA_HOME environment variable. Maybe it points to a wrong JDK installation and this is the reason...

yes i did. it says:

java version "1.4.2_03"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_03-117.1)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2-34, mixed mode)

therefore i was wondering - can ant use another jre anyway? by config?
